Which pets is it suitable for?

Our Algae Oil is specifically formulated for cats and dogs of all breeds, offering a plant-based Omega-3 source free from ocean-borne toxins. It is also suitable for a wide variety of other animals, including horses, guinea pigs, rabbits and ferrets, which can equally benefit from support for coat shine, joint mobility and heart health.

How much do I give my pet?

Dosage is based on your pet's body weight; please refer to the Feeding Guide on the back of the bottle. The oil is measured in pumps added directly to their meals. You may give the full recommended amount in one sitting or split it across daily meals. If your pet is new to supplements, start with half the recommended dose for the first week to allow their system to adjust.

How do I store it?

To maintain maximum freshness and potency, store the bottle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Refrigeration after opening is highly recommended; it protects the delicate Omega-3 fatty acids from oxidation and keeps the oil fresh until the last drop.

Is it human-grade?

Yes. Our Algae Oil is produced using human-grade ingredients and made by a trusted, globally certified manufacturing partner (FSSC 22000). While it is balanced and labelled for pet consumption, the oil itself is held to high human-grade quality standards.

Can it help with stiff joints?

In most cases, yes. Algae Oil is a natural fatty acid and generally complements multivitamins, probiotics and joint chews. If your pet is on blood-thinning medication or a specific prescription diet, we recommend a quick chat with your veterinarian to ensure it's the right fit.

Shelf life?

Unopened, the bottle is shelf-stable for up to 2 years (check the expiry date on the bottom). Once opened, we recommend using the oil within 9 months for full nutritional potency. Keeping it refrigerated helps it stay at its best.

What age can my pet start using it?

Pets can start enjoying the benefits of Algae Oil from as early as 6 weeks. For puppies and kittens the DHA supports healthy brain and eye development, while for adults and seniors it supports ongoing organ and joint health.

My pet has a sensitive stomach; is it still safe to use?

Yes. Algae Oil is often easier on the stomach than traditional fish oil because it is free from fishy impurities. For sensitive pets, start with one pump (or half a pump) every other day, gradually increasing to the full dose over 10–14 days as their digestion adapts.
